Roman Wall Coopers Row London 01
3D model (requires WebGl capable browser)
This section of the eastern part of the city wall of London can be found in a courtyard behind a hotel on Cooper's Row.
The upper section is medieval and the lower section Roman as can be noticed by the lines of red tiles.
A small archway still exists in the wall which provides for a handy passageway through this area.
The wall can be viewed from both sides and looking south it can be seen to continue into a neighbouring building site.
In the medieval section are arrow firing slits and the diaganol lines where staricases once existed.
